Choose the export format for the cut-out
The export format decides where the cut-out works. All three preserve transparency: they differ in size and acceptance.

How It Works
Open FastEdit
Open FastEdit and drop in an image. On first use the AI model downloads (a one-time fetch); after that it runs locally.
Click Remove BG
Use the Remove BG button in the toolbar. The model segments the subject on your device: nothing is uploaded.
Review the edges
The preview shows the result against a checkerboard so transparent areas are obvious. Check hair and fine edges at full zoom.
Refine if needed
Crop tight around the subject or resize to the destination's dimensions in the same session before export.
Export with transparency
Download as PNG for maximum compatibility, WebP for the smallest transparent file, or AVIF for modern pipelines.
