How to Batch Convert Images
This guide covers batch converting multiple images and animations at once using FastEdit. Drop an entire folder or select multiple files, configure shared output settings, and export them all in one go, entirely in your browser.
Steps
01
Open FastEdit
Go to fastedit.net. No installation, no account, no file size limits imposed by a server.
02
Drop multiple files or a folder
Drag and drop multiple image or animation files onto the editor. You can also drop an entire folder. FastEdit accepts all common formats including PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, MP4, and more.
03
Select the output format and shared settings
Choose your target format and configure quality, dimensions, and other settings. These settings apply to all files in the batch by default.
04
Override per-file settings if needed
If specific files need different settings (e.g., different dimensions or quality), you can override the shared settings on a per-file basis.
05
Export all
Click Export to process and download all files. Each file is converted with the configured settings.
Tips
- You can mix stills and animations in the same batch | FastEdit handles both.
- Use a platform preset (e.g., Discord Emoji, Telegram Sticker) to batch-create assets with the correct dimensions and size limits.
- Batch processing runs entirely on your device, so speed depends on your hardware. Modern devices handle dozens of files quickly.
- WebP is often the best target format for batch conversion: it supports both still and animated content with excellent compression.
