How to Make a Telegram Sticker
Walkthrough
- 01
Open FastEdit
Go to fastedit.net. Everything runs in your browser with no sign-up required.
- 02
Drop your image
Drag and drop your source image onto the editor. Any common image format works: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, and more.
- 03
Select the Telegram Sticker preset
Open the presets menu and choose Telegram Sticker. This configures the output to 512x512 WebP with a 512KB file size limit.
- 04
Adjust and crop
Use the crop tool to frame your subject. White or transparent backgrounds work best for stickers. Check the preview to ensure your design reads clearly.
- 05
Export and upload to Telegram
Click Export to download your sticker file. Then use the @Stickers bot on Telegram to create a sticker pack and upload your stickers.
Small things worth checking
- Use transparent or white backgrounds for the cleanest look in conversations.
- Telegram static stickers use PNG or WebP. One side must be exactly 512 pixels and the other side must be 512 pixels or less; the square preset handles this for you.
- Animated Telegram stickers use TGS, or WebM VP9 for video stickers. FastEdit handles the static WebP sticker workflow here.
- Keep the file under 512KB. With the Telegram Sticker preset active, FastEdit tries to lower quality enough to stay within this limit.
- Bold outlines and high contrast help stickers look good at various display sizes.
