How to Resize an Image Online

FastEdit resizes images entirely in your browser. Use it to make photos smaller for email, crop assets to exact dimensions, or prepare images for websites and social platforms without uploading the original file anywhere.

Walkthrough

  1. 01

    Open FastEdit

Go to fastedit.net. The editor runs in any modern browser with no installation.

  2. 02

    Drop your image

Drag and drop a JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, SVG, TIFF, BMP, or other supported image file.

  3. 03

    Set the new dimensions

Enter the target width and height, or choose a preset. Keep aspect ratio locked unless you intentionally need a different shape.

  4. 04

    Choose output format and quality

Keep the same format or convert while resizing. For web use, WebP or JPEG at quality 75-85 usually gives a small file with good quality.

  5. 05

    Preview and export

Check the resized preview, then click Export. The resized file downloads directly to your device.
