How to Batch Resize Images
This guide covers resizing multiple images at once in FastEdit. Drop several image files, choose shared dimensions, and export the batch locally in your browser. Batch mode handles one media type at a time.
Walkthrough
- 01
Open FastEdit
Go to fastedit.net. No sign-up or installation is needed.
- 02
Drop multiple images
Drag in several image files or select multiple images with the file picker. Use still images together in one batch.
- 03
Set shared resize settings
Choose the target width, height, fit mode, and output format. The same settings apply to the batch by default.
- 04
Adjust individual files if needed
Override settings for any image that needs a different crop, size, or quality.
- 05
Export all
Click Export to process the batch and download the resized images.
Small things worth checking
- Batch still images together. Animated or video files should be handled in a separate batch.
- Set shared dimensions for the batch, then override individual images that need a different crop, size, or quality.
- Keep aspect ratio enabled unless every image needs the same exact crop.
- Processing runs on your device, so very large batches depend on local memory and CPU speed.
