Album, single, or EP cover art. Required by most distributors (DistroKid, TuneCore, etc.) at exactly 3000x3000. Must be square with no blurriness or pixelation.
Playlist Cover
300x300 JPEG Max 10 MB
Custom playlist cover image. Minimum 300x300, but 600x600 or higher is recommended. Upload directly in the Spotify app via playlist settings.

- Music distributors require exactly 3000x3000 JPEG cover art: anything smaller or non-square will be rejected.
- Avoid including explicit logos, social media handles, or pricing in cover art: this violates most distributor guidelines.
- Playlist covers can be changed anytime in the Spotify app: use 600x600 or higher for sharper display on large screens.
