FastEdit uses 1600x900 pixels for X post images, a 16:9 practical export target. JPEG is best for photos, while PNG can work for graphics and screenshots when the platform preserves it. Maximum file size target is 5 MB per image.

X profile photos should be 400x400 pixels. The image is displayed as a circle, so keep important content centered and avoid text near the edges. Supported formats are JPEG and PNG, up to 2 MB.

Yes. X compresses uploaded images and may convert large PNGs to JPEG. To minimize compression artifacts, upload at the practical preset dimensions and avoid re-uploading previously compressed images.

X supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP for image uploads. However, PNGs larger than about 900,000 total pixels are converted to JPEG on upload. GIFs up to 15 MB are supported for animated content.

X (formerly Twitter) allows video uploads up to 512MB for free users. Videos can be up to 2 minutes 20 seconds for free accounts, or up to 4 hours for Premium subscribers. Use MP4 with H.264 codec for best compatibility.
