Pinterest Image Sizes & Presets
Pinterest is a visual-first platform where image quality directly impacts engagement. Standard pins should be 1000x1500 pixels (2:3 ratio), which takes up the most space in the Pinterest feed. FastEdit uses a 330x330 profile-photo preset to provide a sharper square source than the displayed avatar size. Properly sized pins get more saves and clicks because they stand out in the grid layout.
Pick this preset, drop your file, and FastEdit starts from the Pinterest Standard Pin dimensions, format, and file-size target.

- The 2:3 aspect ratio (1000x1500) is Pinterest's recommended ratio: taller pins occupy more feed space and tend to get more clicks.
- Include text overlays on pins with bold, readable fonts: Pinterest is a search-driven platform where descriptive images perform better.
- Avoid aspect ratios taller than 2:3: Pinterest truncates extremely tall images (above 1260px height) in the feed.
- Use warm, bright colors in pin images: Pinterest's own research shows red and orange-toned images get more repins.
